Does anyone else find the Godfather (1972) a tad boring?

It is certainly a long, epic story. But I would not call it boring. In fact, the acting, situations such as the rising and falling fortunes of the Corleone Family, and the central theme of Michael's progression from a mild mannered outsider to ruthless crime boss were all fascinating. It is simply a very interesting story, punctuated at key moments with violence and interesting bits of intrigue. Then there are several memorable lines that still appear in popular culture to this day.
